I simply love lavenders, the whole family, from Lavandula Augustifolia... to... Lavandula Vera. If it is classified as a Lavandula the chances are that I simply love them. If it was left to me, I would line every nook and crany of our streets with all sorts of lavandula varietals. Lavandula family is close to me as much as Paeoniaceae (Peony).
So, quite naturally, last year, I purchased and planted six little ones in my front yard. When I planted them, they were tiny little things.
The pic on the left, are the tinnnnnny little ones that have grown into these giant flowering bushes! Woohoo!
