I finally bit the bullet and decide the time was ripe and perfect to refinance.

For a month I have been watching the market and going back and forth about the daily fluctuations of the fixed rates. Finally, one day, it just felt right in the gut. I seem to do pretty darn well when I listen to the gut. It has yet to stir me in the wrong direction! Come to really think about it, it has yet to stir me in the perfect direction! The gut does pretty darn well at good-enough or better, but it has to learn the skills for perfect and swesome (sweet and awesome). Anyways, I followed the gut and locked the rate down. Nice work!

The past week has been busy getting all the paper work to the underwriters and the appraisals. So far all is smooth sailing and simply waiting for the closing dates! Cross fingers and... er... listen to the gut and it should come it alright.
